Ever wish you could put your job on cruise control? To an extent, Agent Designer lets you do just that by automating the common tasks you perform each day

Agent Designer enables an organization to automate its sales, marketing and customer service areas by adding workflow and logic to Oncontact's customer relationship management (CRM) application. These capabilities let a company imbed business rules so CRM actually conforms to specific business processes. Adding business rules is major asset to an organization because it helps employees perform tasks faster and more accurately. Agent Designer can be used to:

  • Create automated prompts that advise users how to proceed with an activity.
  • Build chained events that walk users through every step of a process. The chained events reduce the training time needed to bring a new employee up to speed and ensure that no step falls through the cracks.
  • Build intuitive chains that determine the next step based on the last completed action. A chain is a great tool for completing fast-paced tasks that don't allow much time to contemplate the appropriate next step.
  • Prompt users when milestones, such as a product demonstration or a quote submission, occur. The notification keeps users informed about an account's progression to ensure the necessary action steps are taken at the right time to close the deal.
  • Automate data entry. For example, if a user adds an additional contact to a company already entered in the system, Oncontact's CRM system can automatically fill in the company name, address and phone number. This saves time and reduces the data entry errors that typically occur when information is retyped.
  • Integrate third party applications to heighten awareness of escalated activities. For example, if a customer's support issue was not addressed within a specified period of time, a manager could be notified via Microsoft Outlook to prevent the issue from being overlooked.
