Here's an example of how it works for your sales team:
Your organization sells copy machines. Your top sales rep, Joe Salesguy, receives a call from a prospect who needs a copier right away. After entering the prospect's contact information in CMS, Joe creates an activity indicating he received a phone call from a prospect. Because you've tailored Oncontact's CRM application to your sales process, that activity triggers another activity for Joe to send the prospect an information packet about your copiers. Since the customer is anxious to buy, Joe sends the packet via an overnight delivery service and records the delivery method in the CRM application. Oncontact's CRM system has been programmed to recognize the overnight delivery and automatically schedules a follow-up call from Joe for two days later.
